The Series 27 & Series 28 Short Inserts were designed to be post-mold installed with heat or ultrasonics into straight holes with a 1° maximum (included) draft angle. These Inserts are identical to SPIROL’s standard Series 29 & Series 30 Short Inserts with the exception of the center knurl band which is smaller in diameter than the standard Inserts for thin wall boss applications. These non-stocked alternatives are made-to-order in inch threads ranging in size from 2-56 to ¼-20.
