The Series 40 is symmetrical and Series 44 is the same body style in a blind-ended version. Unlike SPIROL’s standard series of aluminum, Molded-in Inserts, this non-stocked series is made from free-machining brass, which may be preferable in some application that are exposed to a galvanic corrosive environment. These Brass Molded-In Inserts are made to order in metric thread sizes ranging from M2.5 to M10.

SPIROL’s Series 24 and Series 25 Inserts are designed for tapered holes with an 8° (included) draft angle and are very similar to SPIROL’s standard Series 14 Inserts, except that they are designed for use in alternate hole sizes historically specified in Europe. The Series 25 has the same body style as the Series 24 with the addition of a head for more bearing surface.
