SPIROL’s Series 13 Thread-Cutting Inserts are designed for use in thermosets and brittle materials. The Series 13 Thread Cutting Inserts have the same body style as SPIROL’s standard Series 10 Thread Forming Inserts (designed for use in soft, flexible plastics), with the addition of a cutting facet for tapping into harder, less flexible plastics. The Series 13 Thread Cutting Self-Tapping Inserts are made-to-order in metric thread sizes ranging from M3 to M6.
