The Series 44 has the same body style as the Series 40 Through-Hole Molded-In Insert, but in a blind ended version. Series 44 Blind-End Inserts are manufactured from free-machining brass and are made-to-order in a range of inch threads from 4-40 to 3/8-16. Alternatively, SPIROL’s Series 65 Molded-In Inserts are made from 2024 aluminum, a lightweight, lead-free grade and offer superior resistance to torque and comparable pull out.
