SPIROL’s Standard Slotted Spring Pins have a slot width narrower than the wall thickness and thus do not nest or interlock. SPIROL’s Standard Inch Slotted Spring Pins are produced with state-of-the-art technology resulting in lower insertion force, smoother insertion, and rounder outside diameters as compared to Slotted Pins produced with traditional methods. The edge of the slot on SPIROL’s Standard Slotted Pin does not damage the hole during installation, and there is lower stress in the spine of the installed pin resulting in longer pin life when subjected to shock and vibration. Since these Slotted Pins do not interlock, they are conducive for automatic feeding.

SPIROL’s Standard Inch Slotted Pins meet or exceed ASME B18.8.2 specifications and are available in high carbon steel, nickel (austenitic) stainless steel and chrome (martensitic) stainless steel in diameters ranging from .062” (1/16”) to .500” (1/2”).
