SPIROL’s Series 27 Long Symmetrical Metric Inserts are designed for straight holes with a 1° maximum (included) draft angle and are typically installed with heat or ultrasonic vibration. The Series 27 Long Metric Inserts have the same body style as the standard Series 29 Long Metric Inserts with a slightly smaller center knurl diameter for ultra-thin walled boss assemblies. The Series 27 Inserts are also available in a Short version to reduce costs and installation time for applications requiring less demanding torque and/or pull-out resistance. The SPIROL’s Series 27 Long Metric Inserts are available to order in thread sizes ranging from M2 up to M8.
