SPIROL’s Series 13 Thread-Cutting Inserts are designed for use in thermosets and brittle materials. Unlike the standard Series 10 Thread Forming Inserts that are designed for soft, flexible plastics, the Series 13 Thread Cutting Inserts have a cutting facet to facilitate cutting into harder, more rigid plastics. The Series 13 Inserts are made-to-order in inch threads ranging in sizes from 4-40 to ¼-20.
